Every homeowner dreams of a stunning interior: a backdrop worthy of every life event and quiet moment. The idea of painting can feel daunting, especially with cost in mind, so we’re here to simplify it. Below is a clear, transparent look at what interior painting costs in the OKC metro.

Basic Pricing for Interiors
We believe your price should be custom to your situation, so we take detailed measurements of everything being painted. That said, a per-square-foot price is a good way to estimate:
Walls Only
Walls and ceilings, professionally prepped and painted.
Walls + Woodwork
Includes trim, doors, and other woodwork along with walls and ceilings.
Cabinet pricing note: cabinets have their own distinct pricing due to the unique prep and variability involved, so we quote them separately. See our cabinet painting page for details.
“Walls Only” vs. “Walls, Trim & Doors”
Two identical rooms can price very differently depending on how much you have us paint:
Walls & Ceilings Only
The quickest, most affordable option. A great fit when your trim, doors, and baseboards are still in good shape and you just want fresh wall color.
Walls, Trim, Ceilings & Doors
A complete refresh of every surface in the room. It takes more prep and labor (extra cutting in, taping, and switching products), so it costs more, but the room looks brand new top to bottom.
Most whole-home projects land somewhere in between, and we decide it room by room with you. We measure every surface and show you both options wherever it helps your budget.
Typical Room-by-Room Ranges
Every home is different, so treat these as starting ranges for a standard 8-foot ceiling with light prep. Taller ceilings, heavy patching, accent walls, and adding trim or doors move you toward the higher end.
Bedroom or Office
$400–$800 for walls and ceiling. Adding trim and doors: about $600–$1,200.
Bathroom
$300–$600 for a standard bath, more with heavy trim or moisture prep.
Living or Great Room
$700–$2,000, depending on size and ceiling height.
Kitchen (Walls)
$400–$900 for the wall surfaces. Cabinets are quoted separately.
Hallway & Stairwell
$400–$1,200. Tall stairwell walls need extra reach and safety setup.
Whole-Home Interior
A few rooms often run $2,000–$5,000. A full repaint of every surface can reach $15,000–$20,000 or more on larger homes.
Factors That Influence Interior Painting Costs

Every home is unique, and so is every project. These factors influence the final cost:
Room Size & Surfaces
Larger rooms and high ceilings need more paint and labor. We charge by actual measurements.
Surface Condition
Patching, sanding, and stain treatment add labor. (Small nail holes are included in standard prep.)
Paint Quality
Premium paints cost more but cover better and last longer. We can mix grades by room to save.
Complexity & Design
Intricate trim, moldings, and special requests add to the project’s complexity.
Protecting Your Home
We cover floors, furniture, and surfaces. An empty home means labor savings we pass on to you.
Accessibility
Tall ceilings or hard-to-reach areas that need scaffolding can add to the cost.
